The Healing Play
Giselle is currently developing "The Healing Play," a full-length play that is a collection of monologues. It is based on her personal experiences with sexual abuse and assault (SA) and interviews she is conducting with diverse survivors. The piece explores the impact of SA and folks' unique healing paths to peace and freedom.
An abridged version of the play-in-development will be performed on October 12th at the Wisteria Theatre via the Demand to Be Heard Artist Residency through The Sunflower Project.

quote.
I want it to be cool for men to learn how to talk it out instead of punch it out, and for high school boys to say things like, “Girl, I can’t wait to respect your body.”
